2019 Awards

MAPS members joined SES members for the Emergency Services Agency 2019 Awards and Recognition Evening on October 24 2019.

 

The Mick Gentleman MLA, Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Richard Glenn, Director General Justice & Community Safety, Karen Doran, Deputy-Director General, Community Safety,  and Georgeina Whelan, Commissioner ESA awarded the medals to volunteers.

This year there were also awards to recognise employers who have supported our volunteers. The employers awarded were:

• Geoscience Australia

• Australian Maritime Safety Authority.

Nine MAPS members received long service medals:
